A list of what still isnt taxed would be easier.. No doubt Gordon Brown has one and is working on many of the remaining things as we speak.

There is no definitive list as they havent finished thinking up new taxes yet. I really am beginning to wonder when we're going to get taxed on the air we breathe, of course that would be the air we breathe out as thats the polluting part of breathing.

In the eye's of (Or 1 eye'd Scottish Idiot) New labour, everything is Taxable.
It's just they haven't got round to doing it yet. They're getting there though.

Air passenger duty
Betting &Gambling duty
Business Rates
Corporation tax
council tax
customs duty
insurance premium tax
landfil tax
stamp duty
stamp duty land tax
stamp duty reserve tax (for paperless transactions)
TV License
VAT vehicle excise
Fuel duty
petroleum revenue tax
tobacco tax
wines & spirits & beer
Climate change levy
agregrate levy
And we get some royalties for north sea oil.
I'm doing a personal taxation exam in April

I wonder what the averaged out income tax rate would be now, if all of the sneaky taxes hadd been raised in this manner?
What pisses me off most is that thew lying b*stards promised not to 'tax and spend' like labour of old and then proceeded to tax everthing that they could find to do exactly that (whilst continuining the we wont tax and spend lie).

After looking at the link in jonc's post, the goverment really shouldnt sneak news about snide new stealth taxes out when the world cup is on, thats bang out of order, underhanded gits!
