Unhappy Lux Interior RIP

Lux Interior has been pronounced dead

For those of you who don't know, he was the founder/singer with The cramps.

63 which is not a bad age for his lifestyle

Sad news, the man was an icon. And a complete one off.

When I was in my late teens I loved The Cramps and have three or four of their early albums on vinyl, I also saw them live in the early early eighties. I loved 'Human Fly' and their version of 'Fever'

He was indeed an icon, that's sad news.

Add 'Surfin' Bird' to my favourite Cramps tunes too

The 3D 'Off The Bone' album cover is one of my all time favourites and tucked safely away in my vinyl collection

I even had the t-shirts back in my psychobilly days

I've got the pink vinyl of "Can your ***** do the dog" tucked away somewhere, can't imagine Westlife covering that one
