Councilor Blocks Ambulance way
In today news: A councilor used his car to block a Ambulance from attending a 999 call because he did not want the Ambulance to drive on the grass. Once the Ambulance finally got through the councilor blocked the Ambulance from returning to the main road.
This was at a Public event . Local council have suspended him and he awaits to find out what they will do
No wonder this country is doomed if people like him are in a position of power

The "RS" opposite work came in today, his face a purple hue, ranting on about parked cars blocking "his" ambulance access...
"What if I have a heart attack ?", I replied he should get a life and calm down before triggering said event.
"I'll call the police then !", snow on yellow lines = get out of jail free card.
Numpty !

I think this could be the incident in question.
Seems it wasn't a car used to block the ambulance but a bicycle, regardless, a bloody stupid thing to do, plus the bugger locked the gate as well! He's claiming the ambulance didn't have it's lights on, so fricking what, it's not as if an ambulance is going to drive across the grass for a bit of fun now is it?
Let us hope that this jumped up pillock doesn't require an ambulance any time soon as he may find their route unexpectedly blocked so they cannot deal with him.

was talking to my dad about this, an ambulance man of 25 years service. his reply was "I'd have got out and punched his bloody lights out and shoved his bicycle up his bloody ****, councilor or not!"

How do w@nkers like that get in a position of power anyway, oh, cos he went to boarding school and made "connections" there, i.e he was probably bummed, and one of the connections new someone who gave him a job as a councillor.
In these circles its not what you know but who you know!

Stupid story that, what a numptie.
This is another story that's wound me up recently - the nurse who was suspended without pay for offering to 'say a prayer' for a lady in her 70's who was ill.
She's now been reinstated, but it just beggars belief.
