Hope everyone is enjoying the snow today.

For those of you that live around Farnborough and there, how bad is the snow at the moment, Im hoping to drive down sometime tomorrow and I've come to the conclusion i don't trust the met office predictions , so just wanted a real person forecast (coming from west mids. if that makes a difference)

If your talking about Farnborough Hants, it's absolutley fine. We had another inch or so last night, but it was sleet/rain this morning and the thaw had kicked in.

Same as, I just got back in and its fine. Roads are wet but seem perfectly clear apart from that.

I'm just up the road in Sandhurst and the roads are ok around here, just take a bit of care on ungritted side roads. Was in Farnborough yesterday evening, main roads were ok but the retail parks were ungritted and a bludi nightmare!!

Bizzarely, listening to the traffic reports this morning they were reporting congestion (chaos) on the A30 and A325 but we only had a light dusting overnight so it must be down to the assorted herberts who don't have a clue how to control a car in this weather as opposed to snow blocking the roads

Yeh sorry Farnborough Hants. Cool, im guessing motorways and the like are going to clear aswell. Had a feeling i was better off asking that listening to the met.

M3, A331, A31 are all fine to drive on. No real traffic and roads appear well gritted.
Well they were fine about 20 minutes ago.

According to the Met Office there's another lot of snow passing over the middle of the South Coast and up towards London on Friday, from around 03:00 to 12:00. That would put Farnborough squarely in the middle of it...
