Loads here in Herefordshire. Already had (official) word that my work is closed.

Oh well.......

SNOW DAY!!!

Now, just need to find out if the kids are off too - there's a slight chance that I may get a nice Xbox day....

Got a 1" covering at the moment and more coming down. If it gets heavy I may have to curtail my day at work (off-site) to make sure I can get past all the pillocks who don't know how to cope

There is a website for our local county that gives updates as to which schools are closed , so the parents can see at a glance whether to take their kids or not.

My kid's schools are closed but I feel sorry for one of our local ones

Booker Hill School
Planning to open at 11 am when the roads are cleared. Please contact school office/this website for an update nearer the time.
what complete *******s

Can see one set of tyre tracks in the snow in the street where i live, the rest of the neighbours haven't gone to work.Oh there is cycle tracks too.Still snowing but seems to be getting heavier.Me and my brother are trying to get in the process of rebuilding a chimney stack but **** that until the snow stops.I might just take my dads 4x4 out & do some snow drift bashing .

Nothing in East Herts, we've still got all the snow and ice from the other day though. I was out at 10.30 last night pushing my friend's big red van up our ice and snow covered drive because he'd got it stuck
