Watching something the other morning about a new LED lightbulb, the presenter introduced "The BBC's Technolgy Expert"...........Maggie Philbin.
Oh, come ON! She's a failed children's presenter. If she's a technology expert, please tell me where she got her degree, and in what subject.

She studied drama at Manchester University, but did spend qute a few years on Tomorrow's World. source I guess that might make her the least unqualified candidate ?

Still seems like a strange choice. Is it that once you have a job with the Beeb, you are there for life? Why don't they get rid of her, and hire a PROPER technology EXPERT?
