Hardly cowardly when someone has a gun to be fair.

Granted the auld fella stepped in and once he grabbed the loon people may have stepped in but I'm pretty sure no matter which generation we talk the natural reaction is to cack yerself...Generally that is.

The old fella had the gunman in a headlock ..... all it took was someone to take the gun and shove it up his 4rse (the Gunmans 4rse, that is!!)

I'm sure Mythbusters tried this, can't remember the outcome, I feel a Scoobynet experiment is in order here, the non-infraction experiment has worked so this should be easy.

I have a different version of the story (totally fictitious but possible).

Have-a-go hero tackles gunman who shoots 3 people dead while trying to make off with about twenty quid in pound coins. Tonight 3 families are husband and fatherless.
