Macintyre is now on Dancing on Ice, He used to do undercover investijurno things about gangs etc.
He now has to live with 24 hour protection.
Ross Kemp in Afghanistan was an awesome show, He was proper front line and he showed what its like to be under fire with nowhere safe to go, thinking "is today going to be my day"
Hats off to him, Now if he could enroll Phil and Peggy for some front line action and send Minty off to protect Macintyre he will be on his way to save the world.

Is he and his film crew allowed to carry firearms?because if that was me i would want it in my contract to say i could be armed to the teeth

The only thing he didnt have was firearms. I was thinking the same. If your clearing an area and Tommy Taliban pokes his head up I would'nt want my only weapon to be my soap opera acting skills.

Well I always though those were a bit wooden, so he'd probably be all right even after a direct hit.

so am i right in thinking that if he needed to use such force he would have to pick up a weapon from say a fallen soldier or disarm a talabani and turn it on him?**** that id at least have a 9mm tucked away somewhere for a bit of close quarter fun
