just watched a programme on channel 4 with Jamie Oliver. when i next go shopping i am going to buy only British pork


left me with lots to think about

anyone else watch this?

Damn right! I watched it too, I buy (not any more!) Wiltshire ham thinking the it was British. Lovely what he did with the shoulder? what was the rare bit he did that I have to ask my butcher about, sure it was that.

Im there mate. in me local butchers buying a great big shoulder of pork. salt pepper, olive oil. 7 hours in the oven. few beers job done.

But hold on. my local butcher that done all the cuts is now a fecking shoe express. cos all the big superstores sell great big packs of fatty **** full of water for £2.99.

thank god where in the EU eh.!!

Get it from a proper butcher too! Tastes much better than supermarket tripe.
I get mine from a local butcher who gets all his meat from within 10 miles away. The piggies are only a mile away from me, romping around in the fields, having a fine old time. I'm sure it makes them taste better!

i only wish we had been given this information earlier

i was stunned how many shoppers thought they were buying British Pork and all the time have been contributing to the cruelty and suffering of EU pork


i also watched Hugh and the chicken thing the other day. i wont ever buy a standard chicken again.

i dread to think what we will find out next
