Sooty ..... what a right Charlie!
An Asian polo club member referred to by the Prince of Wales as "Sooty" has said Charles has "zero prejudice".
Kolin Dhillon said the nickname used by his friend was a "term of affection with no offence meant or felt".
He said it was also used by other members at the Cirencester Park Polo club in Gloucestershire.
Mr Dhillon, a former chairman of the Schools and Universities Polo Association originally from the Punjab, emigrated to Britain in 1955.

Thought I would add links to the story as you're useless at doing it

PC do-gooders just don't know when to quit do they!!
Looks like he is a good friend of the Prince, and clearly he is not only not offended, but seems he is quite flattered that he is on nick-name terms with Royalty.
The PC do-gooders are just dividing different communities with this sort of craziness, it's absurd.

If the people involved are not offended, end of. No complaint, no issue imo.

In general, Paki word is not regarded simply as an abbreviation. So, I can understand why a royal is expected not to use it flippantly. Even then, that royal is not exactly some special species, is he? He is merely a human being FGS. More so, his army experience (where everything and anything can be mocked and kicked with the steeltoe) doesn't help his political awareness either. "Too much time in their hands" PC brigade should move on to some more exciting news IMO. About Sooty name calling, there's nothing wrong with calling anyone Sooty. I call my Tanzanian doctor a cuddly teddy bear too. he loves it! He has no problem with it. <shrugs>
