Intersting. Last I saw it was slated for Summer (somewhere around June). Want to try this next to an iPhone before deciding what to upgrade my N95 to

It has a full qwerty keypad, cant really compare it to an iPhone I dont think.
This is the nearest match to an iPhone. I was expecting an N series version, but not seen it. The spec of this seems a little low to take on the iPhone

No not exactly the same, but I will want to upgrade later this year and am not sure what to get. Like the look of the iPhone, but there are things that put me off (no mms, no quad band etc). The N97 looks to have these and a lot more besides....

I did like my HTC touch, but cant live without a keypad, its official lol.
I think the difference is, the iPhone was build as a practical (ish) gimmick, the Nokia is going to be a practical phone with gimmick added.

N97 looks intresting
N96 has been superseded by the N85 by the looks of things
OLED display does wonders for the battery life from all the reviews!
i think i might upgrade my N93 to a N85 at some point

i have to say mind, i would have said the same, but a few weeks back, the missus needed me to change one of her rear bulbs in her corsa, in the dark, and the built in torch came in very handy lol

They also compared the HTC with the Storm, Google phone and Iphone on the Gadget show - have a trawl and the video's on there.....
Still not sure - in the same boat really. N95 due for upgrade, Iphone (not convinced) Storm (SOOOO disappointing) etc..... it will have to be a SERIOUSLY good phone to force an upgrade. (I've already got an Ipod Touch and an Ipaq PDA - so a phone has to pretty good to compete!! )

Nearest house to me is 150 yards away - it's VERY dark here and I don't always have a torch on me - but I do always have my phone on me.
It's been useful SO many times (torch batteries ran out recently 2miles from home - in the middle of nowhere - the phone torch got us home safely).
Not useful for you urbanites maybe but needed in this here cunnreeesooide.

I have abandoned nokias now after 11 years... the n95 ive had for ages, but that is the last one. Blackberry 8900 is perfect for me now.
Touchscreen (omnia) lasted a couple of hours before i got annoyed with it and sent it back. Sod this touch screen crap- give me a proper physical qwerty anyday.

This year's must have is a netbook. Looking at the coverage from CES, mobile phones are becoming passe and why get Blackberry thumb when you can type on a proper keyboard. The Dell even has a SIM card built in.

Projected price off line I reckon about 600-750 to start with. Will soon drop though. On contract if any of the UK providers take it on, prob about 99 quid.
Im with the proper keypad people here, rather than a touch screen. As for blackberry thumb, I am a light user to not suffered yet, could do without any more hand problems lol.
Any info on said Netbook ?

N97 package deal with x phone company - Basically, you're our bitch for 18 months and you get 2 texts and 2 mins of calls for that period per month thrown in for free!

I am due an upgrade soon and want an N96 but am surprised at the price, my mate claims to have got one for £15 a month on Three, cheapest they do is £35 from what I can see though I do remember cheaper deals before Christmas, have they bumped the prices up ?
I have a Blackberry from work so I part of me wants to bin the personal phone, though the Blackberry is dependable and has a good battery life I love the superb camera and video functions on my N95 but its hard to justify £35 a month for that when I get a free phone.
