Mostly stonkers, couple of dogs but choc full of classics.
Just had a flick through and even without seeing the track names, most tunes identified (and sung along with ) within a few seconds.

Aaah, nostalgia....

What a playlist!! Those were the days when i was down the record shop every weekend without fail. Haven't counted accuratley but i reckon i've still got over 25 of those tracks on 7" vinyl! Happy days. They don't make them like that any more...

 

How do they make records now then ?

Track 16 surprises me. Its a classic, but I really thought that it had been forgotten...

 

So do you still play around with 7 inches or does the internet give you what you need

The last track, by contrast, really SHOULD have been forgotten.

 

I can usually find what i need on YouTube but you can't beat an evening with a selection of shiny black 12 inchers and a nice sharp needle.

 

Its a mixture of nostalgia and cheese.

 

Its brought back loads of memories for me.

I left 6th form in 86

 

Cheestalgia? I'll reserve that term for songs by Kraftwerk, I think.

 

Tour De France will be my next nostalgic YouTube selection, followed by a bit of Devo and then, maybe, a little more Elvis...

 

Just realised that "Just say no" isn't on it

 

Some excellent tracks on there, but I too am surpsied that "Just Say No" isn't featured. Also, where is Nena's classic "99 luftballons".

Oh dear god no! I've just seen Shakin' Stevens in on there, will have to remove that one from the playlist

It's also good to note that it's the original "Chicken Man" theme tune on there and not one of the remixes from later series.

 

Just record local radio, I'm sure you'd get most of them.

That playlist reminds me of Fox FM.
