LCD TVs (and general) Price rise?
I am not a great fan of LCD Tv's, but want to swap around the televisions in the house so that the oldest retires and that means I need a new main Television sometime in the next few months.
I am just wondering if the price will rise now that the pound is so low against every other currency in the world? LCD TV's seem really cheap now (37" Toshiba or Sony £450 in the sales) but I can't decide if the marching on of technology (which reduces price) will offset the currency rate.
Any thought welcomed ...
Thanks,
Steve

I work in IT/Telecoms and I've heard a rumour firms are going to be upping prices for services like ours by 80% by March
Quick - sign a contract before the price rise!! time is running out!......
With our currency collapsing imports will go up, but I don't think consumers will see any difference as the shops will just cut their margins. Not like electronics are flying off the shelves at the moment is it!.. maybe this press release about increasing prices from Sony is an attempt to get people out there and buy their stuff maybe?...
