Appetite suppressants?
Read lots on here about diet and exercise, especially this time of year. My biggest problem when trying to lose weight is trying to ignore those appetite cravings, especially in the evening. Anyone got any tips or tricks to help get past those bad habits.

paul McKenna's CD - hypnosis thing "I can make you thin"......
It puts you into a slight sleep (whilst you listen to it! - DON'T play whilst driving!!!) Really good.
I had it on my ipod for a few months last year and I am THE biggest sceptic about this sh1te.
Certainly curtailed my appetite......
Failing that, IMHO, you need slow-release food (baked potatoes etc). Don't eat rubbish

Stopping food cravings can be achieved completely naturally and by using a diet which is sensible and sustainable and very good for you. It's all explained in here, you don't need to know anything else..... (IMHO)

I find a bag of chips help suppress my appetite
On a more serious note there is some research that suggests that diet drinks increase appetite as well as making you feel bloated so a double whammy there.
When you are focusing on not snacking or what you are not eating all you are doing is thinking about food.
Develop a strategy to keep you focused on doing something else. We all know people who have missed a meal as they are engrossed in doing something, find that thing for you and you will be fine.
I play with my new Meccano set ;-)

You used to be able to get it in decongestants; but thats a thing of the past now. What was the product with a green and red picture on the front; now withdrawn?

a drug called PROLEAN 2 its still out there worked for me , it is a thermogenic lypolytic agent, its actually meant as a fat burning drug but also suppresses appitite well tested been out a long time but before taking this kind of route always consult your doctor first..see website...i used this for years on and off as needed when i used to need to drop a few pounds quickly ..from heavywieght to middlewieght. with a good exercise program, and i could still eat crap just never fancied it lol
Pro-Lean thermogenic fat burner(90 capsules)
( I AM NOT IN ANY WAY CONDONING ANYONE TO TAKE DRUGS THIS IS A TRIED AND TESTED OVER THE COUNTER DRUG TO BE USED PROPERLY)

It's unbelievable how many people think that you have to take drugs to curb your appetite!
The body creates a totally natural chemical to suppress appetite, you just have to know what foods to eat and when to eat them, in order to increase this chemical.
It's only because diets are so poor now, that this chemical is lacking in our bodies, this is one of the reasons for obesity being on the increase. If you buy the book I refer to in post #11, it will all become obvious.
