Unhappy John Travolta's teenage son dies

The teenage son of American actor John Travolta has died suddenly while on a family holiday in the Bahamas.

The actor's lawyer, Michael Ossi, said Jett Travolta, who was 16, suffered a seizure, and attempts to revive him at the scene failed.

Bloody awful thing to happen to parents!

Just saw that on the BBC website

Terrible for any parent to witness their child die.

True, but these only get around as it only takes someone with poor taste to repeat them

A child has died - you make cheap jokes about it, I assume you have no children?

I don't think I am being silly commenting on the inappropriate use of humour on this thread .......... if that means I am living in a bubble, then fair enough.

O .... hear we go .The scoobynet "lets all cry about something we have no connection with " team come out to play.

same with little maddie.

Buy a can of "toughen the Fk up" and get on with life. you never gave a toss about the 1000 kids that just died in africa.

typical daily mail knee jerk reaction.

I don't like this rating comments milarky. Ok, Luke was being flippant, some will find it amusing others will not.

If I was in a pub and someone said something I was not chuffed about, I would ignore it. Why say the comment is unwanted. A comment is a comment, someones opinion, whether you like it or not.

I did not like the comment, but felt no need to rate it. Must just be me

Sorry, Pete. Did not mean to go off topic. I just had a moment

Of course I care about the other children dying in the world ...... you misunderstand completely - I am not disappointed at your cheap jokes because it was John Travoltas child .......... but because you find it funny to mock the death of ANY child at all.

You didn't answer whether you have children? I can pretty much bet my house that you haven't ..... revisit this thread when you have a child and see if you think you were really so funny then - and whether you need to toughen up. You will see what I mean.

I'm all for a joke and a testing thread, as you well know - but I think you overstepped the mark on this one ....... that's all

BYW I cannot rate posts .......

Bad enough if it happens at 18 years old. 18 months fecked me up!

I feel for anyone who loses any family member, of any age, as I know it hurts.
