They are better than Potterton.

In the end of the day its a cheap boiler. Pays your money....

FWIW our office boiler is a Ravenheat, but its an old school boiler (made just before they started going OTT with unreliable electronics and controls)- proper mechanical gas valve, electro-mechanical temp control, permanent pilot light. Never been touched since the day it was installed. Barring the safety inspections (its not even serviced, just checked that its safe ).

Progress? Nope. Sod the gas bill; Give me a thermocouple and balanced flue anyday.

VAILLANT are one of the better boilers these days, not had a single one go faulty.

Though the ealier boilers were great, newer Worcester Bosch boilers have been having a few problems with electronics.

Based on what I know, its only Vaillant boilers for me.

There are better boilers, but at a higher price.

Just my 2 cents worth.
