Old video tapes - chuck in the bin or recycle...
Just moving the lounge furniture about and emptied the cabinet with all the recordable videos in it. Most are 15-20 years old and as we don't even have a tape player in the lounge any more it seems pointless keeping them. Put a few of the best ones aside in case we want to tape anything on the portable upstairs but the rest are going.
Should these be taken to a tip to be recycled or just dump them in the bin? Got 50+ to get rid of.

The only one that has anything on it I want to keep is video of my eldest when he was a baby. Got a video capture box so will back it up to pc and keep the tape too.
Not too sure about burning them, neighbours/garden birds might not be too impressed with the toxic fumes
