what goes around comes around!
i was given a wooden walking stick by my hospital about a year ago but didn't really use it so i put it in my garage.
the physi department have asked me to bring it in with me next time as they want to make sure its the right height for me etc. i told them i use it but don't find it much help.
anyway, i went into the garage to dig it out and found that the bent bit, the top, has warped beyond recognition. the curved bit has nearly straightened out lol
i wish i had not lied now as its obvious that a normal person can not have been using it as it has become so deformed. what can i say to the hospital to get out of my lie?
if anyone knows how to un warp it i would be very grateful, i have until Monday

Stick it in a bath full of hot water , then use your hairdryer to dry it out

say you came on the bus and left it on it or you was jumped by an 80 year old who needs one themselves or someone swapped it when you left it in the stick box at the local care home..
I wouldn't try drying it with the hair dryer while it was in the bath, you may get a shock

Normal we would boil the kettle and soak the wood to bend it, then we cramp and pin it to shape till it drys. To much hassle your just going to have to own up
