The power of Facebook
Reading the babes thread I was reminded of the power of Facebook.
We were recently hiring a nanny and we had lots of potential young women. One was a nineteen year old American and I searched for her on Facebook.
The nanny photo she sent was a sensible looking girl. When I found her on Facebook her profile was public and so I checked her pics (academic interest only of course )
In these pics her head was half shaved with a lot of ironmongery on her face. Best bit though was a pic of her taking a dump brought on by taking a hit at a party!!
And this was not guesswork as this was the caption!
Nice - she didn't even make the shortlist.
Sadly neither did the girl from Hawaii whose only pics were her in a bikini - and there were lots of them and the bikinis seemed to be made by Wicked Weasel!!!!!

Used facebook a few times with potential members of staff myself.
some people are so dumb, they don't realise that the net can reveal large secrets about themselves
story in the paper about 2 teachers who were caught calling a pupils mother a chav on facebook
apparently "Chevron`s" mother was most upset

I know someone who works in recruitment who does it all the time (on the quiet).
It is funny to hear his stories of how his racial, sexual and class prejudice hampers minorities chances of successful employment errr I mean
