Default Truvelo speed camera

Does anyone know if the forward facing digital cameras have to photo you when you're on the white lines or can they take the pic just before you get there (hope not)?

On the line: the lines purpose is to distinguish who was being photographed.

For some reason the forward facing cameras in our area have the lines after the camera. The Truvelo doesnt need any lines as it has two seperate sensors in the road set at a specific distance in front of the camera. It uses these to calculate your speed. There is no need for a back up such as the white lines.

The lines are part of the kits approval. Without them it is impossible to establish which vehicle triggered the system; where more than one vehicle is in the picture frame.

Not on Truvelo, only Gatso's need the extra back up of the lines.

Only Gatso's need the extra picture and the lines.

As I have already said: the white lines are there to identify the correct vehicle where more than one is in the frame.
