hi,just a quick question, i have a landrover discovery (1998 s reg), i want a private number plate for it, i saw AL02DON by reading the dvla site am i right that i would not be able to buy it for for my car due to it being an 02 plate and my car being (S) plate.???

Correct, as above you can buy a private plate to make the car appear older but not appear newer (like it really matters these days)
