Question Samsung Tocco phone questions

Hi there,

Has anybody got one and what do you think?

Easy to use/software OK?
Battery life good?
Really interested in the MP3 player - is it any good?
Does it have a stereo minijack output for headphones?
Will it take Micro SD or wheterve they call them?

Are you glad you bought it.

Jenny was after a new phone and MP3 player (to stop her taking my IPOD at every given opportunity) and wonderd if this would be a good compromise.

Your thoughts please

I Have an omnia, and the toco isnt far off..

3.5mm mini jack - no-- Propriatry samsung plug to mini socket

mono speaker

the omnia takes mini sd £24 for 8GB

if it also runs wm6 it can be slow & clunky..

both samsung take micro sd, the tocco is deffo easier to use than the omnia and a lot more user friendly. i recommend the tocco over the omnia

Sold omnia after 1 day- the windows OS was too much of a pain in the *** to use.
Shame, as on paper it has everything I want in a phone.

Ditto, the omnia sits on the side whilst one of my old phones is in use

Ive got the C905, not quite a Tocco or Omina but great phone all round. Fantastic camera, good MP3 player, good storage and GPS as well!

Missus got the Tocco and found it hard to hit the right areas of the screen.

It would use the symbol next to the one she wanted to use.

Then there was a problem contecting the charger socket to it...ended up breaking and being sent back.

Orange then took over 6 weeks to give her, her money back and then tried the same phone again....still waiting for it to be delivered. She's currently trying to decide if she wants to keep it or sell it. The contract was the clincher for her, not the phone.
