Hello,

i know you can check in on line 24 hrs before your flight does anyone know if you can check in the day before in person at Gatwick?
We are staying overnight for the flight in the am, so it would be good if we can get it out of the way the day before.

You can just use one of the check in kiosks at Gatwick up to 24 hours before the flight.
On the day of the flight all you then need to do is drop your bags at the fast bag drop

Yep agree with the above, I did this last year when flying to Portugal, and stayed over at the Sofitel the night before !

Canm recommend the Sofitel at Gatwick. Just a 1 min stroll to to the terminal from reception.
