I came home to find that the bunch of shysters digging the road up outside my house are replacing the gas main, and have decided (without either asking or telling us) that we won't mind if they leave our gas disconnected overnight

Shouldnt you have receieved a letter before hand to let you know!!!
Our gas company did work on our street last month and we got a letter 2 weeks before work began. Id complain if i was you mate

I Killed my car on the way home this evening
bloody pothole and one fubarred tyre & alloy..
and the jack went through the sill when jacking it up..
the cost of fixing it is now beyond the worth of the car
looking for something new as we speak
