Default Totally gutted :(

Totally gutted my brother had his Boxer Dog "Jacob" put down yesterday due to ill health at the age of 11. I was very close to this dog as i am my own Boxer dog "Roxy"

11 years old is very good for a Boxer and part you life for ages, anyways but still breaks your heart when they have gone and all the kids are really upset!

Anyways had to tell someone as doing my head in!

It's brought a tear to my eye as i remember how hard it was when we had to make that decision for our Boxer, Ben. Your brother made the right choice for Jacob if he was suffering from ill health - he is in pain no longer.

RIP Jacob

Very sad news

Brings back painful memories of when I had to have my Boxer put to rest just before his tenth birthday. That was 6 years ago and it still hurts to think about him.
Couldn't bring myself to have another boxer after he went, felt as though it would be betraying him.
We only have rescue dogs now and it kinda feels good giving an unwanted dog a loving home.
