Default Weight training question

After many years of racquet sports I am right side dominant. What's the best way to even out this muscle imbalance? For instance, if I am doing dumbell curls am I better off doing an extra set at the same weight with the left arm, more sets with a lighter weight, few sets with a heavier weight etc? Perhaps have a left side only day?

TIA

Mark

TBH I dont think you will ever balance it up completely as we all tend to be dominant with one side or the other which ever we favor,Im more accurate with my right(im right handed) but im physically stronger with my left,
It may be nothing to do with your racquet sports and more to do with 5 finger shuffles lol try using the other hand for ** years to even it up.

I reckon if you asked 20 "experts" this question, they'd all give you a different answer, but from experience, and from what I understad, the best thing to do is to hit an all over body programme really hard, and train with the same weights and reps each side.

If some parts of your body really are stronger, or more capable, they will simple not fatigue as quickly, so you'll be failing on your left side, before you do on your right side.

The theory is, eventually this will even out, and you'll probably be surprised how quickly this happens.
