Default Soulmate stuff

Don't know whether there is something in the water at the moment but couple of mates (both who |I thought were normal) rabbiting on about having found their 'soulmates'

1.I think they should be writing to womans own and not telling me their problems

2.Both are married and wondering about giving everything up for these so called 'soulmates'

3.I think it is a load of nonsense

Anyone actually believe in this stuff or is it all a bit gooey slop .(I told them to pull themselves together. All love/excitement turns into normality at some point no matter who it is )

sounds like boring home life probably without much sex and they've met somebody who makes them feel younger and not the middle aged men they are.

Tell them their soulmates are likely to be ex cell-mates who are looking to fleece them for a bob or two.

Very, very rare that a much younger woman genuinely fancies an old giffer unless he has cash. And plenty of it.

They'll ruin their own and many other lives. Selfish, egocentric activity.

I detect a little bit of Jealousy.

Married with a bit on the side. Sounds like you wish it was you.

About as far from the truth as possible. Sorry but been very happily married for 9 years now to a gorgeous 30 year old and also got a little baby. I actually feel sorry for them having to prop up theirs egos with young slappers.

Soulmates is rubbish, its just a matter of finding someone with a personality you get on with.

Found a top bird playing Poker last night, likes a few beers and a good joke Wouldnt go as far to say a soulmate though, WTF.

Not so sure. If you can find someone with whom you can be TOTALLY yourself in all respects, not have to hide any secrets from, sexual or otherwise, then you are a very lucky person. I'd estimate only a tiny, tiny minority of couples fall within that category. I think they can rightly claim they have found their soulmates.

Easier these days what with websites to bring all the misfits together. Just look at this site as an example

Does soulmate only refer to the opposite sex???????

I have never heard a guy or woman say 'soulmate' when refering to the same sex

I have someone that fits the above. Nothing is out of bounds, quite hysterically sometimes too. It is possible, though to label it with a name like 'soulmate' is plain gheyness.

Soulmate for a woman means just that, for a bloke it means she takes it in the head like a dirty bad bitch

I know I could tell Sal anything .

She thinks I'm an idiot anyway, there's nothing I could do to alter that!

well the incident where she came back early to find you molesting a large steak and ale pie was quite disconcerting to say the least
