2D Lamp replacement
Ok, stupid question time.
Ive been asked to replace a 2D Lamp at work, I have the part and it looks so simple, Im probably thinking too much about it but cant for the life of me work out how the old one comes off. Ive pulled, twisted, pushed. Tried everything I can think off (without using a hammer) and its still attached to the fixing. Anyone replaced one of these before and can tell me what Im doing wrong?
Looks like it just pulls off but when I tried that it looks like I'll pull the fixture of the wall (muscle man )
Cheers

I think there are two small clips that latch on the side of the plastic bit in the middle.
I know what you mean though, I wiggled it from side to side and it came off. Felt like I broke something, but the new bulb stayed in ok so I left it at that, LOL.

They usually should just prise off.
But ask your boss for a Method of Work and Risk Assesment for changing the lamp. It should tell you on that.
And I'd say if you don't know how to change it you have not received sufficient training for the work you are undertaking.
Have an accident while doing it then sue him.
Cheers

Bloody expensive when I bought one from B and Q: about £10
I bought it with great dispise as it was either that or peeing in the dark if I used the dowstairs loo.
