Should Text speak on Scoobynet be banned ?
What do you other think ?
I am of the opinion, it is not needed because :-
a) Is harder to read than plain English
b) You have a full keyboard at your disposal, so it is quick enough to type FFS
c) You don't have a limited amount of characters to cram your reply/post into.
What are your thoughts?
I have started this, because I got an Inf__tion for daring to take the mick out of Text speak .... Actually found

The majority of people - 75% in fact want it banned but webby won't do anything

Well spotted, gotta love the irony..
Yr nt gonna bleve it bt i agre wt nath its rly hrd 2 reed speshly whn thr aint coma n stuf.
And anyone that can read enough of that to have a go about using txt speak should be ashamed of yourself, or you have a teenage child and HAVE to know it just to communicate with him/her...

We're not at school, but why write text speak on a forum? I don't even text speak when I send a text, I don't see the point.
I am not one of the spelling Police and don't go into a post being grammatically correct, but I don't like seeing a post in text speak.
I think I will just do as Suresh has suggested and completely ignore those that constantly text speak.
