Default Crying at sad films

Is this acceptable?

I watched The Bucket List last night (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) and was booing my eyes out at the end!!!

Not surprised as it was a relatively sad ending if IIRC

Onely one I've really had water in my eyes was the Notebook with James Garner, great film but.................the ending

In 2004, Garner starred in the movie version of Nicholas Spark's The Notebook alongside Gena Rowlands as his wife (played in flashbacks by Rachel McAdams), directed by Nick Cassavetes, Rowlands' son.

Guess some films just grab you dependant on what you or your family have been through

"Ghost" kills me. Never fails to have me in floods, no matter how often I watch it

Oh and the good old "It's a Wonderful Life"

I can't remember the last time i cried at a film. Probably 30 years ago or so.

My problem is, that I work out that its all made up

I am far more likely to shed a tear over a real life footage

My other half is terrible, she cries at the likes of Coronation Street

I cried at Terminator 2 when they lowered him into the molten stuff, but I was very young.

Never cry at films but I admit to getting a lump in my throat at the Green Mile and Braveheart (more so due to the thought of how he was killed rather than feeling sorry for the Scottish pr!ck (Joke before any Scots have a pop ) )

Since becoming a father, anything that involves the loss of children or children is distress makes me cry.

Also cried watching "Flight 93"

Worse offender for me is "AI" I just can't watch the last 20 minutes or so. Where they re-animate his mother for a day and you know when she falls asleep she'll die. Waterfalls everytime.

Not sure if its acceptable or not. Depends on the company your with.

In Braveheart they do not show half of the horror of a proper Hanging, drawing and quartering. Given Mel Gibson's butchery of the history doing it properly would have been more fitting.

The one that gets me is the final episode of MASH.

I don't mind admitting that.

Schindlers List.... Every time.

The Mrs is unaffected by traumatic stuff like this, but then absolutely bawled her eyes out at the flicks a couple of years ago when the monkey bought it at the top of the empire state building in 'King Kong'
