Goodwood.....now that was quick!!!
Because i live near Goodwood, I often go over the track during the week when various track days are held
over the years there have been some pretty fast cars going round, to date the best time ive seen was around 1:35 and that was an audi quatro (old style)
today that time was obliterated, literally!!!!!
the beast that accomplished this task
average lap: 1:10
one quick car
and sounds awesome too

Loved the Prodrive AML teams comments when they came back to GT racing.
"This is our development year, we're not expecting alot"
They took 1st and 2nd in class overall!!!

At the Goodwood revival I think Martin Brundle was hitting 165 on the fastest section and that was in the lightweight e type. In a car from the 60's.
Did anyone see the Austin a35's? Unbelievable.
Someone did a rough valuation of the cars at the meet and estimated that there was 85 million quids worth there if i remember correctly.
Fair play, they don't half give those old birds a boll - ocking
