Recycled glass into building trade
I bet you thought that glass was recycled into new glass.
I was shocked today when i seen crushed glass being used for a type/ washed sand.
A lot of block driveway contractors/councils are now using this to save money.
No wonder the builder merchants are going bust.
It is a lot cheaper.But did look strange.

...and in the not too distant future, sewage sludge (mixed with other materials) will be used to make lightweight aggregate...some of which will be formed into blocks and used to build your next new house. i kid you not
