so i hear about this guy driving with no insurance some do gooder pipes up and says blah blah what happens if you kill someone! im sat there thinking whats it matter the fellows dead and even if he wasnt the NHS is of course free! im obviously missing a point or two but surley if your not insured killing someone wouldnt be as bad as crashing into another car! that needs money to be fixed! or does your insurance pay out for the funeral! hell if i know.

From an insurance point of view, perfectly correct. Although I believe that hospitals can claim from the insurance company for treatment these days?

So it's ok to have no insurance as long as you only kill pedestrians because no one is out of pocket?

It's no so much actually killing someone, more if you put them in a wheel chair for the rest of their lives. I'm sure they'd be seeking some compensation for that which your insurance would normally pay out for, without the insurance they'll be seeking it directly from you therefore effectively bankrupting you for the rest of you life.
