Doing 170mph (indicated) on one of my motorbikes a long time ago. Was a one off to see what it was like, got there, held for a few seconds and gently backed off and job done. It wasn't big and it wasn't clever, it was to see what is was like and had no intention of ever doing it again afterwards. Those sort of speeds are definitely best left to Rossi and co.
