Small Claims: Claiming via the Defendants Accountant.
I'm in a situation where the defendant has moved location and is not willing to divulge his current residence.
The defendant uses an accountancy service provided by a small independent company near where he lives. I have been in contact with them and they refuse to divulge the defendants' address.
Can I serve notice to defendant C/O the Accountant?
I've sent a request to HM Courts for information, but they are being slow to respond. . .
I'm sure there are people here in the know who can advise

About £400.00
The chap is moving every month when he can't pay the rent.
To be honest, both the accountant & the defendant have been a PITA, so I'd rather make both their lives interesting.

only if they've been registered on the electoral roll or in the phone book. otherwise, if you know what you're doing, it's reasonably easy to avoid someone who will be using the usual public-access methods of finding someone
what about an internet footprint - that;s where people so often slip up these days...ebay...facebook...myspace etc etc etc

courts are very slow to respond usually, and people use that as part of their defence. phone them - i have in the past and that has either led to a quicker answer or to highlighting the fact that they have done nothing about the original enquiry
what do you know about him...write yourself a list and see where you may be able to find more info. do you know where he works, drinks, where his friends, parents or other family live etc etc.
