Default quick favour - orange phone users

hi can i be cheeky and ask someone for an orange wednesdays code for the cinema goin cinema in an hour and my phones packed in!!!! Missus phone wont take my orange sim card could someone send me one please thanks in advance

I'm with Orange but never used this. How do I find it?? You can have mine.

just txt film to 241 and they send you a code its not free though it`ll cost you a txt

The text message is sent from 241 (IIRC). You then have to hand your phone over at the cash desk. The employee then copies the info into a computer to verify it's valid.

If someone was to forward you this message, the senders details would obviously be theirs. Not sure if they'd accept that.

Yeah they only ever ask you to read the number out. I have my mums old PAYG orange sim just for this purpose. If more of us going then I get my bro or mum to send me theirs.

Used to do this on my work phone when it was free. They now charge you 35p for the privilege.

Looks like the only time I used it, was at a cinema that actually checks!

Oh well, my taxes pay for people to sit at home and do nothing, so I suppose I can't complain that my phone bill pay's for people to go to the pictures.
