WOW!!!! I own a house in a tiny little village! No one has ever heard of the place so I googled it and found a church! I have owned the house for 3 years and NEVER seen a church in the village!

Found a couple of pics of the old paper mills that graced the banks of the Grand Union canal near where I grew up. They are all flats and houses now... Shame really.

Where I live now:
Still a nice village, but with loads of development going on around it.
Where I grew up:
A crappy commuter town where 95% of the population are in London during working hours. Horrible.

I worked there ^^^ obviously more recently, I wasn't even though about in 1955!!

Worked there too ^^^, was an old manor house, but now it's been converted into apartments and looks so out of place.
Nothing much has changed apart from alot more new housing estates

The Ovaltine factory is all apartments now.
Used to smell the Ovaltine when I was down the allotment.
