Moving house - a record?
I moved to a new place yesterday.
Total time to pack, get taxi there and unpack 55 minutes and my feet were up watching Maury
I challenge anyone to move house faster
There's a lot to be said for not owning anymore possessions than you can fit in a car.

I wish it only took 55 minutes!
We moved 3 times in 3 years with the army, and at one place I left half the stuff in boxes coz we were only there for 3 months. Our last move to here took us a week!!! But that was because it was van loads of the last house in Yorkshire up to here so was 2 hours each way.
You musn't own alot of things.

Took us weeks to pack up our whole life into boxes.Emptying loft and trips to the skip took forever.
Removal blokes turned up.Fitted everything into a small corner of their lorry in 5 mins.(Couldn't believe it our worldy possessions were so few!) ditched it all at the other end in another 5 mins
(Still took most of the day though)
