Zimbabwe Agreement
Does anyone here actually think that the Mugabe-Tsvangirai Agreement has a snowball in hell's chance of working?
The sad fact is that the country will be in ruins until Mugabe gets a bullet in the head or dies from old age. Even then a military coup is a strong possibility once their "protector" has gone. dl

It is a mess and will remain a mess. Only South Africa has the power to end it and they are unwilling to do so hence this 'compromise'. Mugabe still controls the security services and is Head of State. The MDC will be hoping that the army, police and war veterans see which way the wind is blowing and either change allegiances or disappear quietly.
