The link wont work for me. I used to go to Malta quite a bit, I liked the people very much as well as the island. I really enjoyed a sixpenny ride on the old buses which always had bald tyres!

My virus software doesn't like that link one bit.

I also used to have several companies in Malta I did some work for.
I picked up several profanities - think of swearing in Maltese as being quite colourful instead of our effort

Here's one I quite enjoyed.
Excuse the spelling effort, but this is as it sounds.

"fusch car mandy"

Basicaly I was told it meant in this roughly in English.

"**** you, **** your whole familty and **** everything about you"

One place had a very large owner - I tried asking how to say fat ba$tard in Maltese.
Again - spelling as it sounds.

Hanzier Kabier - apparently means "Large pig"

Some of them, particularly the ones further down the list are really colourful.

I've copied some of the better ones, and I'll use them the next time I'm over there visiting my family.

ryn004, I thank you for posting this.
