They still wont listen to an independent survey. Never have done, never will. Their statistics are correct and they will just go BLAH BLAH to anything else

What? hey? how? When?

If speed cameras are going to be used, then they need to be visible, in a proven accident backspot and be effective.

If you have a camera, that this Woman is saying saved 100 lives a year, then fair enough.

I ****ing hate speed cameras (I got done, again, the other week) but it is very very difficult to argue against them, when all someone has to say is "well, don't break the law , then".

Radar or laser speed measurement can never be relied on as being 100% accurate for external factors as has been demonstrated often enough.

I think it is fair to say that the authorities really don't care all that much about the people anyway, so if people get done unfairly they won't mind about that, but they really hate any threat to the goldmine that the speedcams are of course.

It doesn't mention if this survey takes into account the number of accidents or minor shunts that are actually caused by the speed tax cameras.
Like the situation where approaching the camera, I momentarily looked at the speedo (28mph on the GPS) , just as the dotty OAP in front decides to slam on the brakes to make sure he's 20mph under the limit.
I was lucky, but I'm sure other in a similar situation weren't.

Well I got done last week for Drink Driving! There's no way they could really prove I'd been drinking! They even gave me the video of my arrest which I've uploaded to youtube.

Not happy!
