If someone says their Solicitor has evidence against you are they legally allowed to keep that evidence from you or can you write to them and demand to see it within x amount of days??

Not a Solicitor, but I'm sure prosectutors evidence has to be given to the defence. In order for them to cross examine the evidence against the defendant.
So yes, you should write asking to be provide with the evidence against you.
If it's a blood soaked knife though, they'll just send you a picture.

Personally I thinking he spouting nothing but lies and hot air but I suppose time will tell.
Don't think I will do anything as I dont want him to think his threats are bothering me

From these vague posts it will be impossible to give an answer. Id suggest that it is nothing more than talk though. Peoples solicitors do not keep 'evidence'.

Prior to a court case, both sides are obliged by law to disclose all documents & evidence to each other. If there's no court case pending then it sounds as though someone is trying to wind you up.
