Wasps!
Has this been some kind of record year for the winged little *****? There seems to be a lot more than normal and they are doing my head in! I bought one of those electric wasp swatters, which is a lot of fun I must admit.
Anyone else getting plagued by them?

We have had some huge Bees too, they look more like Sparrows wearing a rugby top! I like Bees though, they get carefully caught and put back outside.

There's a wasp's nest just outide my kitchen window. I ignore them, they ignore me.
At the French house this summer we had a bee's nest in the barn wall and a hornet's nest up one of the chimneys
Now THOSE b*ggers are fearsome..........but not as fearsome as my trusty flyswat

I was sitting outside last weekend having a beer and fending of the wasps from my jam on toast when suddenly all the wasps instantly vanished and something the size of a B-52 bomber buzzed into town, I have never seen a Hornet before but my god do they make wasps look tiny and harmless
I wanted to kill it as we had my 9 month old godson with us but they are protected here and it is illegal to kill em.

I have a massive wasp phobia that leads me to do sporadic bad 80's dancing whenever one is within 30 feet of my personage. That said, I havent danced once so far this year as I havent seen any
