Why are some people so hell bent on getting a high post count?
Some would say a high post count means the poster is contributing more to the forum than someone with a low post count. I totally disagree.
I've seen many posts where the content is nothing more than just a smiley. That in my opinion is a total waste of a post.
In all probability, somebody with a low post count may have contributed much more to the forum through quality posts than someone who posts nothing but a smiley at every opportunity.
I may not reach 1000 posts for a few years yet. I only post if I have something to say.

if your not bothered about your own post count then dont worry about anyone elses
no one here says a high post count means more than a smaller one
