A fitting punishment?
Public schoolboy drink-driver who 'ripped cottage in two' gets off with £400 fine | Mail Online
Take out most of a house whilst drink driving, flee the scene and give false details to the police, you get..............................
£400 fine and 200 hours’ community service and a 20 month driiving ban. Pathetic.

I love the quote from his mum:
His mother Annette said: ‘He is obviously very sorry for what he has done – he is deeply mortified.’
Just how can someone be "deeply mortified" Most probably he does not give a toss, well apart from the large legal bill they will have stumped up for to get such a low penalty.
