Question Typical costs for temporary car insurance?

I'm selling my car next week. And I was thinking about the dreaded test drives. Selling performance cars drags up a whole load of cocky driving god feejits, which put simply, blind trust aint gonna be enough this time.

So I would like to stipulate that anyone who wants to drive the car has to provide proof of insurance and licence (fair play IMO).

But before I commit myself, I'd like to find out what it would likely to cost them, as I have absolutely no idea what daily insurance costs...none of the websites I found give any hint of cost unless I go through the whole quote process, and I'm not in the mood right now, so I'll ask here first.

I don't want to demand something thats going to cost a potential buyer silly money.

So anyone have an idea of typical costs for a £20K NSX...£20? £50? £200?.....

Dayinsure.com Ali. Either £10 or £20 FC, for the very top group.

I think you may be thinking of the grace period you get to drive it yourself, not for any Tom, Dick or Wayne to have a go?

If I sell I will take someone out but wouldn't let them drive themselves. dl

With day insurance the policy is theirs, so the loss wouldnt affect you if it all went **** up. Youd have to contact the insurers and register your interest in the vehicle afterwards of course...

Well don't use insuredaily.co.uk - The ad that's at the bottom of this page - I got a security warning saying it was trying to direct me elsewhere.
