Default What is a Euro Coin Pattern Set?
Just found an auction on ebay for a Euro pattern set Vatican 2002 for just with a buy it now option at £13.99. And was wondering what is the difference betweet a pattern set and a normal set?

I think it just means that each country has its own unique pattern on their coins.

I've collected a 2 Euro coin from as many countries as I've visited. All of them different obviously.

Yeah but for a Vatican set of 8 coins, this price is ridicously low, maybe pattern set is jargon for replicas?
