Just incase some of you don't know I have recently set up a new company:

http://www.performanceexhausts.net

I have a banner up on Scoobynet, and it has done the world of good - thanks Simon! ;-)

But I was hoping some of you would be able to suggest other sites where I can run a banner or any magazines etc etc, the main thing is, it has to be inexpensive as I have all the financial strains brought on by being unemployed for 7 months and starting a new business etc etc.

Hope you can help and thanks very much!

Jamie :-)

Not so much the advertising but as a new business, your entitled to funding for your web site. I run a company and am setting up another company with 2 others. We have just applied for funding for our web site/brochures to promote the new business. Admittedly we also have a PR company handling our marketing/PR side which is quite expensive compared to the web site costs but if someones prepared to foot all or some of the costs for a part of our start-up then thanks very much, I'll have some of that

I'm in the North East so I'm not sure if its a local thing or available nationwide but the main thing is that the website must have some sort of commerce facility which could be what your doing or need......we also score brownie points as our site is to be used World Wide.

Once its confirmed, which should be the end of next week, I'll post some feedback and who to contact.

One of the best things you can do is establish a good word-of-mouth reputation. That's how many established Scooby bolt-on companies did so well.

Bend over backwards to offer an A1 service, deliver on time with a good product and the rest will fall in place in time.

Oh, and consider diversifying, all your eggs in one basket (i.e the scoob) isn't the smartest move.

David

Thank you - I do aim to offer the best service possible and all my feedback so far has indicated that I'm going about it the right way, but as long as I keep it up, which I will everything should be ok.

Also my range is diverse and I deal with any car, make or model, not just Subaru, even though Scoobs are what drive the passion for me!

Thanks for your kind advice!
