Tax compensation?

Tax compensation?
When it was announced the other month that due to we having to pay more tax on our wages it was said we'd be getting a 1 off payment at the end of Aug.
I haven't heard anything else since and as wondering if the payment would be in the wage at the end of this month?
Anyone know how much it is and if it still applies?
I've got a 1200 bandit waiting to be bought so hope it still applies

I think it's September.
We had a letter about it at work from HMRC last week, telling us how tax codes need to be modified for payroll processing. If you have a "simple" tax code, it just gets changed. If you have a K code, you have to wait for a new code to come through from HMRC.

It is September, codes will increase. Don't book a holiday though, the Robbers just had to back down after removing the 10% milarky. Won't be worth a fortune, but better in our pockets than theirs
