Using Sat NAvs abroad
I have a Garmin Nuvi 250w, which has the general UK maps etc uploaded when purchased...
anyone any recommendations where I can get the data card for the US?? IT's £85 from Garmin, and £113 on Amazon, but wanted to see if anyone has any advice as to where I can 'obtain' it a bit cheaper
TIA

Can't help with the garmin, but I got a Tomtom 910 with UK/European and US/Canada maps for £140.
£113 for the US maps seems ridiculous.
BTW, weather in Floida is lovely!

I hope you don't mean illegal maps that can be found on Mininova : The ultimate BitTorrent source!
I have a Garmin 250 that has the whole of Europe and it is very good. I haven't ventured to the US with it.
